RANA has a very large nature photographic collection at disposal for illustrating publications.
Some 50.000 photo’s concern herpetofauna (frogs, toads, newts, salamanders, lizards, snakes, turtles, tortoises, crocodiles, caimans and alligators).
RANA illustrated many publications, EU-coproductions, posters, WWF PANDA bulletin, LIPU’s UCCELLI, the Bird Protection societies “Mens& Vogel” and “L’Homme et l’Oiseau”, a MINOLTA campaign, and web sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Italy and others.
RANOCHIO plans to open a nature photographic school. In the past it organised in Tuscany a nature photographic course and a nature exhibition during the Toscana Foto Festival with famous photographer Oliviero Toscani.
RANA has a well furnished herpetological library for study purposes.
