In memory of Dr. Thys Kramer

Cofounder and for 20 years Chairman of International RANA.

Thys was first of all a very good friend, a tortoise lover and a great musician.

He created especially for the Mediterranean tortoise Testudo hermanni hermanni on Mallorca the sociedad de Protecfauna "Son Cifre de Baix". He was also involved in the follow up of CARAPAX in Italy. He was RANA's Chairman till 2003, when his position was passed to Ir. Bram Rammeloo.  Thys Kramer died on December 14th 2021 after a long illness. All RANA members offer their condoleances to his wife Miep Kramer.
